#STRONG LIKE AN AMAZON #slightly annoyed by people who forget that tara is so much more than willow’s girlfriend #she’s powerful and brave and wiser than everybody else #she knows there’s no escape #and glory just made a fairly detailed description of what she’s gonna do to her #(while torturing her) #and yet there’s that look #strong like an amazon i said #everybody else can go home

#EVERY TARA FEEL #Such an underrated character #Can we talk for a mo about her relationship with Buffy? #How /she/ was the person Buffy told about Spike? #Aka all of her issues in s6 #Their conversation in The Body? #Buffy didn’t have a one on one conversation with anyone else that whole episode #Not really #But she could talk to Tara #Because Tara is strong and nonjudgemental and so fucking amazing 

 #it’s so important to remember that THIS IS A CHARACTER WHO COMES FROM AN ABUSIVE BACKGROUND #this is a character who is USED TO BEING MADE THE VICTIM #and in her run on the show and very likely before we see her stand up and REFUSE TO BE A VICTIM OR LET ANYONE ELSE BE THE VICTIM #tara is the fucking moral compass of this damn show and she guides everyone in a way that no other character does because she is so pure … #and GOOD #and full of love #and she cares so deeply about everyone including herself and does not let people pull any shit with her #she is the strongest character in this series and i refuse to place her in a little box as willow’s girlfriend #she is so much more than a label and her identity couldnt even BEGIN to be defined by her relationship status #most beautiful character most lion-hearted character most ethical character #queen of my HEART

People seem to forget that Tara had more of a backstory than a lot of the regulars (we definitely knew a lot more about her than Riley lol). She’s a powerful witch in her own right and never let it corrupt her as it did others. She’s a proud out woman which is brave in itself. She’s beautiful, kind, wonderful with Dawn, a confidante to Buffy, brings out the best in Willow and turns her back on her abusive family. When people say that she is boring, or just an add-on to Willow I RAGE. I heard someone say once that Amber Benson was ugly. I was like

YOU WANT TO LEAVE THIS ROOM.
